Janae Marie Kroczaleski interview with Muscle & Fitness

Matt Kroc | Janae Marie

There’s a really nice article in Muscle & Fitness online as a teaser to the full article which will be in the print copy soon.  Several of the things that are mentioned that they get into in the interview are Janae’s views on Caitlyn Jenner’s coming out, and while that didn’t prompt her to come out, she did feel that she needed to wait until her boys had graduated high school before undergoing sexual reassignment surgery.  While they all have yet to complete high school, but since outed the choice has been taken from her.

“I’ve worried a lot about how this would affect my boys, but if I postpone everything, what am I teaching them?” she asks. “That you should conform to society’s expectations? That you should suppress who you are to make everyone else happy? I think that’s the worst lesson I could teach them.”

Brava, Janae, brava!
